About Us
Bringing families together in the study of God's Word since 1978.
Our History
British brethren had long desired a Bible School experience similar to those held in other countries. In 1977, an Australian brother living in the UK took decisive action — he announced he had secured a conference venue and challenged others to help organise the first event.
The inaugural school was held during Whit week 1978, running for five days at The Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick, Derbyshire. What began as a bold vision has grown into a cherished annual tradition, now running for six days each year.
Our Foundation
The school was established on two key principles:
- Clear doctrinal standards — attendees are expected to accept the Gospel as contained in the Word of God as expounded in the writings of the pioneer brethren.
- Christlike conduct — a commitment to conducting ourselves according to the Commandments of Christ, while refraining from controversial disputes.
